Reid Reding, President
My name is Reid Reding and I am a senior Biology and Spanish double major. I am pursuing the Pre-Med track and my career goal is to complete a residency in neurosurgery. After many years of practice, I want to work in medical missions. Eagles Health Initiative is a club that seeks to serve the community, which is something I could not pass up. I chose to run for a position as an officer because of the impact the club has had on me, the school, and the community. I cannot wait for all of the fun events we have going on this year!
McKenna Box, Vice President
My name is McKenna Box and I am a junior Biology major. I plan to pursue a career in medicine as an orthopedic pediatrician. I joined EHI to give me opportunities to serve the OC campus and the community, that I could not find elsewhere. While I am most passionate about the physical health aspect of EHI's mission, I love how EHI views health as including the mind and soul, as well as the body. EHI gave me opportunities as a freshman that I could not have found at any other school. I look forward to this coming year to continue to grow my faith and knowledge, while helping the students of OC and the community.
Brandon Reed, Coordinator
My name is Brandon Reed, and I am a senior Biology major with a minor in Psychology. I plan to attend medical school after graduating and then pursue my goal of becoming a psychiatrist. I joined EHI after volunteering with them at a couple events because I love what EHI represents and the opportunities that it gives to students who are wanting to become more involved around campus and in the local community.
Emma Duncan, Treasurer
My name is Emma Duncan and I am a junior Interdisciplinary Studies major. My fields of study are Science, Marketing, and Bible. After college, I plan to pursue a career in Medical Device Sales. One day, I hope to use the skills I learn in my career for medical missions. Eagles Health Initiative is a wonderful club, because it educates and accepts all people. It gives students opportunities to serve their community and to better their own care taking skills. It has been a blessing to be a part of a community of students who come together with the goal of serving Christ and those around them, both spiritually and physically. EHI has opportunities for all people and I am so excited for this year and to see how it will bless each life involved in it!
Caleb Ruff, Publicist
My name is Caleb Ruff. I am a biology major with a minor in Spanish. I am a pre-dental student, and my ultimate goal is to go to dental school after I graduate from OC and one day have a practice of my own. I joined EHI because it opens up so many opportunities for students who are interested in serving others. If you're looking for ways to get involved with the community, or work on your overall health, EHI is the club to join!
Susane Mihigo, Administrative Assistant
My name is Susane Mihigo and I am a junior Biology major. Upon graduation, I would like to attend medical school with the goal of becoming a pediatrician. One of the most meaningful ways that I have been involved with EHI, was volunteering at the Manos Juntas clinic. The experience helped me visualize what my future career might be like, by offering me hands-on experience. Being able to make a difference in people’s lives right from my freshmen year helped motivate me to work hard so that one day I can do that full time. I look forward to working alongside other EHI officers to offer incredible opportunities to OC students, as well as to our surrounding communities.
Mallori Mueller, SGA Representative
My name is Mallori Mueller, and I am a sophomore Biology major with a minor in Psychology. I am a Pre-PA student with a goal to become a Physician’s Assistant in neurology by the year 2024. I joined EHI because I saw the great opportunity to make connections in the community and serve those around me. I hope to attend medical missions as well in order to serve people across the globe. EHI is perfect building block in this journey.
