Gary Jones, Jr.

Gary Jones, Jr., is the Multicultural and Service Learning Coordinator at Oklahoma Christian University and leads OC’s diversity efforts. He has been the driving force behind the annual Civil Rights Movement Tour for OC students, plus special on-campus events like My Black AmericaHistory Speaks, and Faith in Ferguson.

A native of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Gary has a bachelor’s degree in History/Pre-Law and an MBA in Leadership and Organizational Management, both from Oklahoma Christian. He was a two-year letterman on the OC men’s basketball team, including the 2004-05 conference championship team that advanced to the NAIA Sweet 16. 

A member of the board of directors for the National Youth Conference, Gary also serves as a deacon at the Eastside Church of Christ. Gary and his wife Jillian are the proud parents of two beautiful girls, Bristal and Kaleigh.
