Upgrade Options:
Undergraduate Students can choose to upgrade from the standard configuration. We encourage new students to visit with their academic advisor for system recommendation based on their discipline. Upgrade pricing is provided below. New students will need to place their order and pay for their upgrade online prior to attending Take Flight. The selection process will be available shortly.

- The 15-inch MacBook Pro. ($599 upgrade) 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, 4GB 1600MHz DDR3 Memory, 500GB Hard Drive, Intel HD Graphics 4000, nVidia GeForce GT650M w/512MB, SDXC card slot, 15.4" LED-backlit glossy widescreen, illuminated keyboard, Facetime HD Camera, Thunderbolt port, FireWire 800 port.
Note:
Models and configurations may change throughout the summer due to vendor upgrades. These upgrades are not predictable and can result in students receiving systems that vary from the specification described above. The information listed on this site is the configuration of those systems currently being purchased for distribution to new undergraduate students.
Once a student is issued the laptop they will not be able to return the equipment to upgrade to a later model. If the student desires, they can choose to delay receiving the equipment until August to help ensure the most current equipment for that distribution cycle.
