Parent Resources

Congratulations on your son or daughter being selected to go on a Study Abroad trip. They were selected from many applicants to participate in this unique university experience.

The Office of International Programs strives to help students experience learning at its best as they study, travel and serve in their study abroad program.

Your student will spend many months preparing for their study abroad adventure. Each program participant is enrolled in a one-credit-hour Study Abroad Seminar class in the spring and attends a weekend retreat. They receive a textbook with a wealth of information about their program that includes their academics, their service opportunities and helpful travel information including packing, money, safety, etc.

You may have questions about these topics as well. The links on this page will give you a brief overview of the information that is given to your student. If you have additional questions, you might ask your student to share their textbooks with you.

Thank you for supporting your student throughtout this academic opportunity.
