Faculty Position in Mechanical Engineering
Opening Date for Hire: 1 January 2014
The School of Engineering at Oklahoma Christian University is currently seeking a full-time faculty member in Mechanical Engineering. Visiting, full-time, and tenure-track options are available. The successful applicant will be expected to teach courses in the mechanical engineering curriculum, advise students in their program of study, serve on university committees as needed and participate in department curriculum planning and assessment tasks. Applicants with experience advising undergraduate and graduate research projects are encouraged. An earned doctorate in mechanical engineering or equivalent is required. Preference will be given to candidates possessing expertise in the thermal/ fluid sciences.
Academic rank for these open positions will be negotiable based on education and experience according to University policy, which requires all full-time faculty to be active members of church of Christ and all faculty (Visiting, adjunct, etc.) to be committed to Christ-infused curriculum, co-curriculum, lifestyle and community.

• A statement of teaching philosophy and discussion of the University’s mission;

• A statement of research and teaching interests.
