Director of Human Resources
Oklahoma Christian University seeks a proven leader to provide hands-on leadership for the Human Resources office of the University. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for all aspects of human resources at the University including the administration of all human resources policies, procedures and programs. This position reports directly to the Executive Vice President.
Specific responsibilities include oversight of the payroll department, employee relations, employee recruitment, employee orientation, talent development, employee welfare & safety, employee evaluation systems, and administration of compensation and benefit plans. The HR Director will also serve as compliance officer for various federal programs (EEO, FMLA, and others) and required employment practices.
Preferred applicants will possess at least 5 years relevant experience in Human Resource Management. Candidates should have strong organization ability, demonstrated problem-solving skills, good technical skills with an HR system (Ellucian Colleague preferred) and spreadsheets (Excel), strong written and oral communication skills, and a demonstrated Christian commitment.
