OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 21, 2012) – The 1,000-point club for Oklahoma Christian men’s basketball has a new member – center Will Reinke.
Reinke, a senior from Lawton, became the 36th OC player to reach the exclusive scoring mark during a 71-56 loss to Midwestern State (Texas) on Nov. 16 in Pueblo, Colo.
Through 11 games this season, Reinke has scored 189 points and increased his career point total to 1,119, tying him with Bryan Jennings (who played for the Eagles from 1998 to 1990) for 29th place in OC history. Reinke is 40 points behind the No. 28 player on the list, Ron Webb (1981-1983).
Among players who have played three or fewer seasons at OC, Reinke is tied for seventh with Jennings. Reinke played his freshman season at NCAA Division I Stephen F. Austin.
