OKLAHOMA CITY (May 20, 2013) – Oklahoma Christian shortstop Kendra Pierce and pitcher Taylor Mosher have been named to the All-National Christian College Athletic Association Central Region softball honor team.

Pierce, a sophomore from Oklahoma City, hit a team-high .418 with five home runs and 54 RBIs in only 42 games. She led the Heartland Conference in RBIs and was third in hitting, sixth in on-base percentage (.448), third in hits (61), second in doubles (22) and third in total bases.

Pierce earlier made the Heartland’s second-team all-conference list.

Mosher, a sophomore from Flower Mound, Texas, went 8-5 with one save, a 4.66 ERA and 45 strikeouts in 79 2/3 innings. She threw seven complete games and twice was named as the Heartland Conference pitcher of the week. She finished third in the conference in wins, ninth in ERA and ninth in strikeouts.

The Lady Eagles finished 22-22 this season, falling to Central Baptist (Ark.) in the NCCAA Central Region title game.
