CHELTENHAM, Victoria, Australia (Dec. 15, 2012) – Oklahoma Christian junior Catherine Odgers just missed the cut Saturday after the second round of the Port Phillip Open Amateur at Kingston Heath Golf Club.

Odgers, a native of Australia, shot a 9-over-par 83 to finish tied for 23rd in the 42-woman field with a two-round score of 162. That was one shot off the cut line for the 72-hole tournament, which serves as a qualifier for the Victorian Amateur Championship, an event roughly equivalent to a state amateur tournament in the U.S.

Odgers tied for sixth and earned National Christian College Athletic Association All-America honors in October during the NCCAA Invitational in Panama City Beach, Fla.
