OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 22, 2012) – Oklahoma Christian will host a pair of one-day winter baseball camps during the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, OC coach Lonny Cobble said.

The camps will be conducted Dec. 28-29 at OC’s Bobby Murcer Indoor Training Facility, one of the top indoor baseball facilities at any Oklahoma college or university.

The Dec. 28 session, which will cost $125, will be open for high school-age players from grades nine through 12. Instruction will focus on hitting, pitching, catching and fielding. All hitters will be individually videotaped and reviewed by an instructor.

On Dec. 29, players from kindergarten through eighth grade will be eligible to participate. The session, which will cost $100, will include instruction on the proper techniques of hitting, pitching, catching, playing the infield, playing the outfield, baserunning and defense.

The camps will run from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. each day. Each camper will receive an OC baseball T-shirt.

The camps will be directed by Cobble and staffed by Cobble, along with OC assistant coaches Andrew McGuire, Chance Stevens, Manny Cervantes and Ty Weeden. The camp staff also will include current OC baseball players.
