OC softball drops games in Missouri, adds matchups in Texas
OKLAHOMA CITY (Feb. 27, 2013) – Continued cold and sometimes wet weather has caused Oklahoma Christian’s softball team to head south.
OC (6-7) dropped out of an event scheduled for this weekend in Joplin, Mo., during which the Lady Eagles would have played in four games, and instead are seeking games in Texas, where the weather is warmer and drier.
The Lady Eagles will play a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m. Thursday at Huston-Tillotson (Texas) and another starting at noon Saturday at Tarleton State (Texas), another team that dropped out of the Joplin event.
OC’s next home games will be Tuesday, when the Lady Eagles will play the University of Dallas (Texas) at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium Complex.
