OKLAHOMA CITY (May 28, 2013) – Oklahoma Christian University will offer free admission to its upcoming soccer day camp for children to students from two Moore schools destroyed by the May 20 tornado, OC women’s coach Randall Robison said Tuesday.

Students from Plaza Towers Elementary and Briarwood Elementary can register for the Eagles Day Camp portion of the OC Soccer Academy through a special email link located on the camp’s home page, www.ocsocceracademy.net . The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. from June 10-13 and will be held on the OC campus in north Oklahoma City.

“If it helps two or 200, we’re hopeful that the camp can provide a little break and a few smiles to the kids of these schools,” Robison said. “There are a number of area coaches eager to volunteer their time for this camp and several coaches in the Dallas area also have expressed an interest.”

Camps will be staffed by OC soccer coaches and men’s and women’s players. Campers will receive a camp soccer ball and T-shirt. All students ages 5-12 are welcome, although registration is required. Contact Robison at info@socceracademy.net or at (405) 314-6141 for more information.
