OKLAHOMA CITY (April 10, 2013) – Oklahoma Christian basketball signees John Moon of Crescent and Zach Norris of Coweta have received postseason honors from the Oklahoma Coaches Association and the state’s two largest newspapers, The Oklahoman and the Tulsa World.

Norris, a 6-foot-4 guard, was named to the OCA’s Large East All-State roster while Moon, a 6-foot-11 center, was picked for the Small West roster. They will play in the annual OCA All-State games, set for Aug. 1 in Tulsa at Oral Roberts University’s Mabee Center.

Norris was a second-team pick for the Tulsa World’s All-Metro honor list after averaging 14.7 points per game this past season for Coweta. He also received honorable mention on All-State honor lists from both the World and The Oklahoman, which each produce their own lists, separate from those of the OCA.

Moon, who averaged 18.6 points per game for Crescent, was named to The Oklahoman’s All-State list for Class 2A and received honorable mention on the newspaper’s Little All-City teams.
