ARDMORE, Okla. (July 16, 2013) – Oklahoma Christian women’s coach Greg Lynn finished tied for fifth in his division at the Oklahoma Golf Association Senior Stroke Play Championship, which ended Tuesday at Dornick Hills Golf and Country Club.

Lynn, playing in the super senior division, shot rounds of 79 and 74 on the par-70 course, which considered one of Oklahoma’s toughest. His overall score of 153 put him 11 shots behind the winner, Gary Bonner of Norman.

Conditions were wet and cool for July, as a weather system brought rain and temperatures in the 70s and 80s to much of the state earlier this week.

Lynn, who lives in Edmond, is no stranger to strong finishes at senior events. Two years ago, he qualified for the U.S. Senior Amateur and earlier this year, he was selected to play in the Trans-Mississippi Senior Championship.
