Lady Eagles receive No. 6 seed for NCCAA tourney, to play Cedarville
OKLAHOMA CITY (March 9, 2013) – Oklahoma Christian will be seeded sixth in the National Christian College Athletic Association Championship, the Lady Eagles learned late Saturday.
OC (19-11), which beat Southern Nazarene in the NCCAA Central Region title game earlier Saturday in Bartlesville, will play third-seeded Cedarville (Ohio) at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Grace College in Winona Lake, Ind.
Cedarville (18-9) won the Midwest Regional title and plays in the NCAA Division II Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
SNU received an at-large bid to the NCCAA tournament and will be seeded fourth, despite losing two of three games this season against OC.
The eight teams in the field, in order of seeding, will be Union (Tenn.), California Baptist, Cedarville, Southern Nazarene, Shorter (Ga.), OC, Grace (Ind.) and Roberts Wesleyan (N.Y.).
