Islam and Liberty in the Middle East

A public lecture on “Islam and Liberty in the Middle East” will take place next Tuesday, October 23rd, in the Ken and Lindy Adams Recital Hall from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The presenter will be Turkish journalist Mustafa Akyol, author of the book Islam without Extremes. Among other topics, Mr. Akyol will be addressing the current tensions between Turkey and Syria. The lecture will be co-sponsored by OC Graduate Programs and the McBride Center for Faith and Literature, Admission is free.
