OC’s online MBA named nation's 6th most affordable

Oct 21, 2018

OC is proud to offer multiple graduate degrees with both in-class and online options for students. One of those programs was recently recognized for being among the most affordable in the country.

Graduate school resource website gradschoolhub.com ranked OC’s master’s of business administration degree with an international business emphasis as the nation’s 6th most affordable online master’s degree in international business. OC was the only university in the top-15 list from Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana or New Mexico.

“We are honored to be recognized for being an academically qualified and affordable destination for a graduate degree in international business,” said OC’s Dean of the College of Business Administration Jeff Simmons. “We believe our Christian perspective sets us apart even more as a leading destination for graduate business students.”

Gradshoolhub.com used the National Center for Education Statistics’ College Navigator to evaluate online international business master’s degrees. Each potential college had to have one of six regional accreditations authorized by the U.S. Department of Education. While affordability was key, rankings were also based on academics, business accreditations (AACSB, ACBSP or IACBE) and national rankings. The top-15 universities were arranged from highest to lowest mean in-state graduate price.

OC’s MBA program allows students to take classes just one or two nights a week and earn a degree in as little as 12 months. Students can take classes 100 percent online, at night on campus or as a hybrid of in-class and online delivery. Students can choose from nine targeted academic tracks (Accounting, Finance, Health Services Management, Human Resources, International Business, Leadership and Organizational Development, Marketing, Nonprofit Organization Management and Project Management), plus a general MBA degree. Courses are taught by faculty members who bring a wealth of business experience and academic preparation to the classroom. To learn more, visit www.oc.edu/MBA.
