A Message from the President
Note: Dr. Mike O'Neal served his country in the armed services, receiving the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service in Vietnam as an officer in the Navy. He also received Navy and Army Letters of Commendation.
Welcome to Oklahoma Christian University. OC is a special place which takes seriously its responsibility to nurture all aspects of life--intellectual, spiritual, physical, and social--of which are integrated through faith. As stated in our Mission, OC is about the transformation of lives for Christian faith, scholarship, and service. OC is engaged in a diligent quest for quality and excellence in every aspect of our work.
You are obviously a person with a strong interest in leadership, personal discipline, and serving our country. I invite you to further that service by completing your college degree and exploring the opportunities available through Oklahoma Christian University. Like you, I am a Veteran, and I was greatly blessed by my experience as a U.S. Navy officer in Vietnam. I am confident we share many common values because of our service to our country and our fellow man, and know you will benefit from advancing your education among people who share those values.
It is our goal to enable all of our students to discover, enhance, and effectively apply the gifts and talents God has bestowed upon them. There is no place I know where you will be encouraged and mentored any better.
