Recent Activities

On April 20, OC's Department of Psychology and Family Studies hosted the 2012 Oklahoma Psychological Society spring conference.  This conference highlights undergraduate research across the state of Oklahoma.  Many of OC's junior and senior psychology and family studies majors presented papers highlighting their own student-led psychology experiments.  

Eighteen family studies majors and Mrs. Sada Knowles attended the Oklahoma Council on Family Relation's annual spring conference on March 30, 2012.  The conference theme was on fatherhood with many great speakers and research presentations.

Faculty member Mrs. Sada Knowles presented "Specific Ways Mothers Combine Love and Limits with Toddlers" at the Oklahoma Association of Family and Consumer Sciences conference on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the University of Central Oklahoma. 

Faculty members Drs. Ryan Newell and Tina Winn traveled to the 2011 APA Conference in Washington, D.C. with OC students Celeste Florea, Caleb Mitchell, and Carmon Procell to present their research "Religiosity, Education and Life Satisfaction As Predictors of Dispositional Forgiveness."
