LaChelle Shilling is a native Oklahoman and alum of Oklahoma Christian University. After graduating from OC in 2003 with degrees in English Writing and Psychology, she continued her education at the University of Cincinnati, receiving an MA in Creative Writing with an emphasis in poetry. She then returned to Oklahoma to teach classes at both Oklahoma Christian and Oklahoma State University. Her previous publishing credis include poetry published in Breaking Open: An Anthology of Intimate Voices, edited by Ramona Cunningham and published in 2004. She was a judge for the 14th Annual Internations Writer's Digest Self-Published Book Contest. She is currently pursuing an MA in Women's Studies in Religion at Claremont University in Claremont, California.
Visual Arts Judge
David Crismon graduated from Kansas City Art Institute with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and continued on to receive his Masters of Fine Arts in painting from the University of Oklahoma. He served as gallery director from 1999 until 2004 for Oklahoma Christian University, where he currently teaches art history, design history, painting, and drawing. His work has been shown at prestigious galleries such as Craighead Green Gallery in Dallas, Texas and Mainsite Gallery in Norman, Oklahoma.
