Preston Ackerman (2000) Business major; currently working as an FBI agent in Oklahoma City.

Sara Alcon (2007) Biochemistry major; working on Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of New Mexico.

Bryce Baird (2015) Biology major; accepted to OU Health Sciences Center MD program as a junior and attended the Summer Medical/Dental Education Program at the University of Louisville.

Taylor Baird (2006) Psychology major; works as Assistant Registrar at University of Central Oklahoma; Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law; received Master of Dispute Resolution from Stratus Institute of Dispute Resolution.

Andrew Barker (2005) Biology major; currently working on residency at Scott White Hospital in Temple, Texas; graduated from University of Kansas Medical program.

John Barker III (2008) English Pre-Law major; attending University of Kansas Law School.

Lauren Bruner Barker (2005) English major; employed by Kansas and Texas private and public schools as writing teacher; published many poems in juried journals; M.A. from University of Missouri at Kansas City with a teaching assistantship.

Stacie Beach (2013) History major; M.A. in Classical Archaeology from Florida State University; M.S. in Roman Archeology from University of Durham, England.

Steven Bell (2011) Electrical Engineering major; M.S. from Stanford University in graduate engineering; presented his paper in the design of robots and use of optical mice for navigation at the IEEE competition where it received 1st Place.

Hannah Bingham (2014) English major; received assistantship to Iowa State University Teaching English as a Second Language graduate program.

Travis Bow (2010) Mechanical Engineering major; M.S. from Stanford University in graduate engineering; accepted into the NSF sponsored Research experience for Undergraduates summer program 2009 at OU.

Cody Bryant (2013) Biology major; attends University of California Irvine MD program, 2013-17.

Chas Carter (2015) attends SMU Dedman School of Law with scholarship; accepted to multiple law schools with scholarships.

Megan Collier (2009) Elementary Education major; teaching in Siberian Yupik Eskimo village of Gambell on St. Lawrence Island, Alaska in highly sought after district.

Courtney Copeland Corman (2002) Biology major; conducting highly specialized research; Ph.D. from Washington University, St. Louis, MO.

Jacob Davis (2005) Accounting major; treasurer at Tapstone Energy, L.L.C.; and received CPA designation.

Lincoln Dutcher (2015) accepted into OU Health Sciences MD program fall 2015.

Elaine Ekpo (December, 2008) History/Pre-Law major; Pepperdine Law School.

Amelia Fitzsimmons (2009) Chemistry major; teaches at University of British Columbia Okanagan; Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta.

Jason Ford (2010) Accounting major; works at Copeland, Hild, and Associates as a tax accountant with plans to receive his MBA from Oklahoma Christian and a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from Oklahoma State University.

Amber Foster (2004) Family Studies Major; missionary in Honduras since 2004; OC’s 2010 Young Alumnus of the Year.

Cory Giles (2010) Biology major; Works at OK Medical Research Foundation and studies Bioinformatics, GPiBs at the University of Oklahoma Graduate School.

Corrie Hays (2015) Biology major; attends University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center MD program, 2015-19.

Adam Hoffhines (2002) Biochemistry major; Pathologist at Pathology Laboratory Associates in Tulsa, OK; selected 2015 Honors Alumni of the Year; Fellowship in Pathology at John Hopkins; residency in Pathology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Hospital in Dallas; completed M.D./Ph.D. (Cell Bio) program at University of Oklahoma; published 6 scientific papers and won a $20,000 Pre-doctoral Scholarship in 2005 for superior research project design.  

Helen Homlund (2015) finalist for Fulbright Scholarship 2015; presented at the national Ecological Society of America 100th Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland in August 2015 for her research and received the prestigious Billings Award for the Best Graduate Student Oral Presentation in physiological ecology; presented at the national Ecological Society of America conference in Sacramento summer 2014 for “Dehydration Tolerance of California Ferns in Relation to Stem Hydraulics and Mechanical Strength present” for a poster of her research; interned at Pepperdine University, Summer 2013 & 14 in Summer Undergraduate Research in Biology, SURB.

Travis Hughes (2007) Biochemistry major; Harvard Medical School, Division of Health Science and Technology joint degree program between Harvard and MIT and MPH in Epidemiology-International Health 2014-18; University of Michigan with full tuition, fall 2011.

Cady Haas Jackson (2012) English; teacher at Valley Center High School in Wichita, Kansas; University of Oklahoma, Literary and Cultural Studies, MA 2015; Visiting Professor for OC in 2014-15; Resident Director of OC’s Davission Honors House; 2014-15 Associate Director of OC’s Honors Program and Honors Summer Academy.

Katelyn Jackson (2014) Psychology major; 6th grade math teacher at Westside Achievement School in Memphis, TN; selected for the prestigious “Memphis Teacher Residency” 2014-15 program; interned as a missionary in Panama, summer 2011.

Hannah Ketring, (2014) English major; selected for the prestigious “Teach For America” 2014-15 program.

Sean Lacey (2002) Math major; works for Infiniti Pharmaceuticals; M.A. and Ph.D. from Boston University in Biostatistics.

Will Kooi (2010) Mass Communication/Journalism major; HIM worker/missionary in Vienna, Austria.

Jennifer Loe, (2014) Math major; working on Ph.D. in Math from Baylor University; published in the journal 2014, Discussiones Mathematicae Graph Theory for 2-tone colorings in graphs products and in 2013 summer Mathematics REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) in Computational Algebraic Geometry, Combinatorics, and Number Theory at Clemson University in South Carolina.

Ryan Major (2014) Biology major; working on M.D. at Texas Tech School of Medicine; participated in the Summer Christian Pre-Healthcare Provider Internship summer 2013 where he worked at three different charitable clinics and attended the INMED medical missions conference and was accepted into the Peggy and Charles Stephenson Cancer Center 2012 Summer Research Scholarship Program.

Trevor Martin (2015) Mechanical Engineering major; working on his MS.E. at Oklahoma State.

Thea Strande Matlock (2010) Electrical Engineering major; hired as an engineer at OG&E.

Daniel McCormack (2009) History and Political Science major; Ph.D in History from University of Texas at Austin; postdoctoral Research at Christopher Browne Center for International Politics at the University of Pennsylvania.

Lynneth Miller (2013) History major; working on Ph.D. from Baylor University with full scholarship; University of St. Andrews, M.A., received the 2013 Ransome Scholarship.

Michael Mitchell (2004) Business Administration major; OC Director of Admissions; author of “Life Lessons for Dad; Tea Parties, Tutus, and All Things Pink”; M.A. in Higher Education Administration from University of Oklahoma.

Travis Montgomery (2002) English major; professor at OC, Language Literature Department; completing Ph.D. at University of Mississippi and has appeared in several national scholarly programs.

Michael O’Neal (2001) Engineering major; attended Pepperdine University Law School; currently practices law at William, Box, Foshee & Bullard.

Tyler Parette (2015) Political Science; Operations Associate at OK. Policy Institute; OC’s 2015 Newman Civic Fellows and Nigh Scholar.

Karissa Taylor Parkhurst, (2011) Music Education major; teaches music and choir in the Broken Arrow Oklahoma School System.

Lance Pedersen (2013) Computer Engineering; working on his M.S. in Computer Engineering Spring, 2016 at University of Syracuse.

Ben Peterson, (2011) History major; Graduate Assistant at Davenport Institute for Public Engagement/Civic Leadership; working on Ph.D. Public Policy at Pepperdine University School of Public Policy; worked with CCCU study abroad programs in Israel in Middle East Studies.

Aaron Pogue (2002) English-Writing major; President at Draft2Digital; technical writer at Masked Fox Productions; and author of the best –selling fantasy novels, Taming Fire and the Dragonswarm.

Haylie Ritchie (2015) Electrical Engineering major; works as an engineer at Boeing.

Timothy Sikes (2014) Math Computer Science major; software developer at Logos Bible Software.

Aaron Stewart (2010) Political Science major; owns and works at Law Offices of Aaron J. Stewart in Chico, CA; named 2015 Northern California Rising Star (lawyer); attended OU Law School and received the Natalie Pierrepont Comfort Scholarship for exemplary academic qualifications.

Naomi Fitzsimmons Stickler (2012) Mechanical Engineering major; Product Engineer at GE Healthcare, provides product support on x-ray machines; MSE from Oklahoma Christian.

Mark Street (2015) Biology major; attends OU Health Sciences MD program; won second place at the University Research competition in March 2015 for his ovarian cancer research and selected to go to Washington DC fall 2015; chosen as one of eight summer 2014 researchers at the Stephenson Cancer Center, OU Health Sciences Center and was a 2013 Nigh Academy Scholar.

Rebekah Chisholm Taylor (2004) English major; 2009 associate attorney for a private law firm in Norman, Oklahoma; 2007-2008 Assistant District Attorney for Cleveland County, Oklahoma; attended University of Oklahoma Law School. 

Bailey Thomas (2011) English major; works at Penguin Random House publishing in New York City.
