ELEM-3233 Literacy I - Early Development
Candidates will instruct individual students in a classroom setting. They will construct and present motivating lessons and assess and reflect on student learning. Focus is on the use of early developmental stages of literacy elements, including reading, writing (process, types, grammar, punctuation, spelling, handwriting), literature, listening, speaking, viewing, visually representing, and assessment. This course is normally offered in the spring semester.
