ARTS-2423: This class entails a chronological study of the photographic arts and motion pictures. The course content examines the technological changes and famous innovators from photography's introduction to current cinema. Lectures and class discussion will analyze photos and motion pictures from various critical / historical perspectives to offer a comprehensive overview of important photographers, fine artists, photojournalists and film makers and their impact on the visualization of the modern era.
