Henson Adams came to Oklahoma Christian from New Braunfels, Texas, and eventually became Student Government Association president. After graduation, he and classmate Wil Norton continued to lead in the prestigious Teach For America program. OC named them Distinguished Young Alumni in 2012.
Alex Alderson graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2012 with a degree in accounting. Originally from Argyle, Texas, he now works as an accountant preparing tax returns at Ernst and Young. Click here for info about OC's College of Business Administration.
Oklahoma Christian presented its first-ever Legacy Award to the Charles and Sylvia Branch family in 2010. Charles and Sylvia are the patriarch and matriarch of a San Antonio family that is in its fifth decade of leadership and involvement with Oklahoma Christian. All five of Charles and Sylvia's children attended OC and have gone on to remarkable careers. Many of their grandchildren have followed in their parents' footsteps to become OC Eagles.

Terry Johnson transferred to Oklahoma Christian from SMU. He was a star student and became OC's president at age 31. After a 21-year tenure, he and his wife Marty retired to Horseshoe Bay, Texas, where he's a successful author and an elder at Marble Falls Church of Christ.
Richard and Pat Lawson are active leaders in OC's North Texas Alumni Chapter and the benefactors behind a gift that was one of the largest in the university’s history.

Originally from Laredo, Texas, Dr. Amanda Nichols earned her chemistry degree at Oklahoma Christian in 2003. She's now a professor, living out her faith in the classroom and helping OC students take advantage of the undergraduate research opportunities she had. Jay Tabor graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 1986 with a degree in American Studies and went on to Harvard Law School and a successful career managing billion-dollar mergers and acquisitions. He now serves as a partner in Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher's Dallas office.
They say you can take the girl out of Texas, but you can’t take Texas out of the girl. But Oklahoma is where the grandchildren are, so that’s where Jane Winton and her husband Lon are. The Wintons are OC’s 2013 Distinguished Alumni award winners.
