Spiritual life is at the core of the OC experience. Ethos allows students to fulfill their Spiritual Life requirements through Chapel services, mission trips, and more.
One of OC’s most important traditions is meeting for Chapel every weekday. The main Chapel service and other gatherings like Women’s Chapel, Missions Chapel, Great Songs Chapel (and more!) provide a chance to focus on God.
Monday night’s “View 63” and the “Thursday Night Devo” also bring students together to praise and worship. Our Bible reading plan on YouVersion features daily scripture readings and devotionals written by OC students, faculty and staff members.
Most of our student body is involved in service and ministry, including 500 students, faculty and staff members who do mission work each year in countries around the world.
OC students also reach out closer to home, partnering with Oklahoma City's Stanley Hupfeld Academy at Western Village in a mentoring relationship. At the start of each school year, OC hosts "Kite Day," where Western Village students make a field trip to Oklahoma Christian for a fun day of flying kites and eating lunch with OC students.
