Oklahoma Christian University is accepting applications for the position of Educational Technologist for the North Institute for Teaching and Learning. Responsibilities include working in partnership with interested faculty, departments, administrators, and the university's faculty development team to promote effective teaching strategies and improve student learning outcomes in face-to-face, blended, and distance learning environments that utilize technology in a significant way. The Educational Technologist assists faculty with course design, course development, classroom management, active learning, learning theory, assessment methods, documentation of teaching, and multicultural course transformation. This person will evaluate curriculum development and work with the university's foundation relations to submit applications for grants and grant-funded projects, with particular emphasis on projects integrating technology.
A master's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Technology or related field is preferred. Three years related work experience in a university or similar environment is preferred.
