Monthly OC Preachers Luncheon

May 21, 2013 11:30 am - Preacher's Luncheon

THIS MONTH'S LUNCHEON WILL BE OUR LAST FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR! John Duncum, a skilled business man and member of the church who has specialized in helping resolve conflicts in businesses, families and churches, will speak on “Avoiding Conflicts in the Church” and, in a follow-up session at 1 p.m. for those who would like to stay, he will speak on “Resolving Conflicts in the Church.” We hope you will join us for both sessions and encourage you to invite elders and other leaders to attend with you. Your church will be blessed by your coming!

Dr. Stafford North will be be holding an area-wide free seminar on "How to Evangelize Your Community" at Groton Church of Christ. The seminar is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. located at 1018 Route 12, Groton, CT. Lunch will be provided by the Groton congregation. June 29, 2013 - Take 5 Evangelism Seminar, Hooker, OK

Dr. Stafford North will be be holding an area-wide free seminar on "How to Evangelize Your Community" at the Hooker Church of Christ. Thank you for joining us for the April Preacher's Luncheon which featured an outstanding lesson from Leon Dennis. His message, titled "Ezra: A Ready Scribe with a Prepared Heart" provided a charge to this year's OC College of Biblical Studies award recipients. Thank you for being such an encouragement to our students as they graduate and enter the workforce in service to our Lord. We hope you enjoyed our March Preacher's Luncheon. We had a great crowd available to hear David Duncan's message on "Why we Need to Preach." We were especially honored to introduce Benton and Paula Baugh, dedicated servants of Jesus Christ and His Church in the Houston area for over 40 years. It is because of their deep love for the church and their passion for evangelism, ministry, and preaching that we were able to announce the Benton and Paula Baugh Chair of Gospel Preaching. We had another great luncheon with 87 in attendance to hear Phil Brookman from Memorial Road. Phil presented a lesson on "Sharing Your Faith" from the book of Philemon.

November 13, 11:30 am - Preacher's Luncheon

Chuck Monan from Little Rock was the speaker for our November Preacher's Luncheon. Chuck is known to all of us as a man who brings really good lessons and, for this luncheon, he shared with us things his congregation is doing to make contact with people in the community to bring them to Christ. Please listen to the video below to see what the Pleasant Valley congregation has done to reach out and, at the same time, you will be inspired by the things you hear.
