Oklahoma Christian University has been accepted into the membership process for NCAA Division II and now competes in the NCAA Heartland Conference, a 10-team league with schools in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas.
OC also competes in the National Christian College Athletic Association, providing our student-athletes with national postseason opportunities during the three-year NCAA membership process.
OC fields teams in men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's track and field, men's and women's golf, and women's softball.
OC is a perennial contender on the national scene, highlighted by top-10 rankings in the Directors' Cup All-Sports Standings in 2003, 2010, 2011 and 2012. OC student-athletes have claimed 45 national championships, including team national championships in men's tennis (2003 and 2012), men's golf (2009 and 2011), and men's cross country (2011). OC student-athletes are honored as All-Americans and Scholar-Athletes on an annual basis.
With all our recent athletic success, we may be most proud of our 3.2 cumulative GPA for the entire athletic department. OC also has earned national recognition for its student-athletes' involvement in charitable activities and community outreach.
